At Catlog, we help businesses sell on social media easily. We’ve built tools for businesses to show their products and take orders through WhatsApp and Instagram. Our tools also help them collect payments, keep track of important information and automate tedious tasks like booking deliveries. We’re just getting started, and there’s much more to come.

Why this role?

We’ve built a great product, but we need someone who can help amplify our storytelling efforts. We’re looking for a Chief Storyteller to help us communicate our vision, keep our merchants engaged, and drive our growth efforts.

Your Responsibilities

This role will be focused on two things

  1. Brand Communication
  2. Growth & Retention

Brand Communication

  1. Social Media

    You will work with the team to plan & execute social media strategies across platforms like Instagram, TikTok & Twitter. This would involve both written and video content aimed at engaging & educating businesses about Catlog’s offerings.

  2. Blog & Email

    You will work with the team to write blog posts & emails to keep our merchants and the general public informed about new features, updates, and success stories.

Growth & Retention

  1. Running ads online and tracking results

    You’ll work with the team to plan & execute online campaigns, especially on social media platforms like Instagram and track their performance to optimize strategies.

  2. Community Management

    You’ll work with other members of the growth team to create content & activities to help keep members of our Merchant community on WhatsApp engaged.

  3. Key Metrics & Growth

    In this role, you’ll be responsible for keeping track of key metrics and figuring out growth & retention strategies to help improve them.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  1. You should be able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. Excellent writing skills are very important.
  2. You should be comfortable with video appearances
  3. You should have an outspoken & engaging personality
  4. You should have a strong understanding of social media platforms
  5. A minimum of 2 years of experience in content or digital marketing is required
