At Catlog, we help businesses sell on social media easily. We’ve built tools for businesses to show their products and take orders through WhatsApp and Instagram. Our tools also help them collect payments, keep track of important information and automate tedious tasks like booking deliveries. We’re just getting started, and there’s much more to come.
Why this role?
We are looking to grow rapidly in the next few months & we need someone who can drive this growth. You’ll be leading a team of 4 and responsible for managing our growth strategy & direction.
Your Responsibilities
This role will be focused on two things
1. Growth
- Growth Strategy: You’ll be responsible for planning how Catlog grows. This means finding the best ways and places to grow, and then lead the team to make it happen.
- Brand Communications: You’ll oversee all communications across social media, email, and other platforms, ensuring our message and tone stay consistent. You’ll guide the growth team on creating content and approve all written materials.
- Marketing Campaigns: You’ll create marketing ideas for different channels and guide the team to carry them out.
- Partnerships: You’ll handle all communications for growth partnerships, including with influencers and business coaches.
2. Retention
- Tracking Performance: You’ll track and report important numbers, like website visits, ad conversions, onboarding, retention, and subscriptions.
- Improving Retention: You’ll regularly review our web and mobile apps, suggesting new features or changes to boost engagement and keep users coming back.
- User Feedback: You’ll help gather and analyze user feedback, drawing useful insights from it to improve our services.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- At least 4 years of experience in growth marketing, ideally at a B2C company (preferably a tech startup).
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent writing abilities.
- You should have excellent story telling skills, be comfortable with appearing in videos, and have a solid understanding of social media platforms.
- A vibrant, engaging and outspoken personality.
- Experience with data analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Segment, Metabase, and Amplitude.
- A solid understanding of SEO and marketing tools like Facebook Ads Manager.

💸 Starting remuneration for this role is NGN 600k - 700k, subject to increase after a few months
